A few days ago I started a project to keep track of how long, and how fast. I was walking each day.

I had two motives. One was to make sure I was exercising enough.

The other was very different. I’ve been taking an excellent course on Coursera called Notifications Introduction to Data Science in Python.

It features Pandas, and I wanted a simple but realistic real-life project to work on.

The exercise project looked ideal. As a learning project it worked well but as I did it I found myself thingking it would be trivial to implement this in APL. So I did.
